Parents + caregivers
People caring for children or family members while navigating advocacy, fatigue, changing needs, uncertainty, and their own emotional well-being.
As I grow as a counselor, I am particularly interested in walking alongside parents and caregivers, women navigating transitions, and families facing relational or mental health challenges.
These are developing interests. Cacey’s actual internship population, services, and scope will be determined by her approved clinical site and supervision.
No person fits neatly into a category. These starting points reflect lived experience and curiosity, while each counseling relationship begins with the individual story.
People caring for children or family members while navigating advocacy, fatigue, changing needs, uncertainty, and their own emotional well-being.
Families responding to children’s emotional, behavioral, educational, or mental health challenges and seeking healthier ways to understand and connect.
Women moving through changes in identity, family, work, relationships, caregiving, loss, or a new season that no longer fits the old map.
Individuals curious about family-of-origin experiences, attachment, recurring relationship dynamics, and how old adaptations shape present life.

My own family has given me firsthand appreciation for the beauty, complexity, advocacy, and emotional labor involved in caring for children with unique needs.
That experience has shaped my desire to support people who have spent years caring for others while often placing their own emotional well-being last. I understand that showing up with hope can be courageous work.
Once Cacey has an approved internship site, this section can accurately explain who the practice serves, the clinical services available, how supervision works, and how prospective clients should contact the practice.
